Carson here from WA. I know Kyle chatted with you about you "deserving more" yesterday. I truly believe in this as well and that is the bread and butter of why Wealthy Affiliate has become so successful over the past 4 years and why we have so many happy members.
We truly do care! Today I want to chat to you about something very specific and that relates to all business...online or offline.
CHEAP vs. EXCELLENT VALUE...
There is a big difference between the two..
Cheap is...
That weed whacker you buy for $20, that can't cut through the "thick" weeds and dies on you in the 1st week!
That car you buy for $100 that breaks down as you are driving it home for the first time!
The $7 e-book you buy online that simply offers you a couple rehashed articles and includes some affiliate offers (trying to make you buy more)!
Excellent Value is...
That Black & Decker weeder whacker that you bought for $100 and lasts you 15 years.
The used Honda Civic you bought for $1000 that keeps ticking along without any problems at 300,000 Miles.
That membership site you became part of for $39/mth that continued getting better and better and continue to offer members more and more value (hmm...doesn't this sound familiar)!
And there is another dynamic here. EXPENSIVE stuff, but with high perceived value.
If people pay more, they automatically assume that something is more valuable. For example, we could easily charge $100+ per month for Wealthy Affiliate. People would still be just as happy, but since they paid more, they would consider it being more valuable.
Don't get me wrong, people send us notes on a daily basis telling us that they are "lifetime" customers, but that is not the point here. The point is that if we did charge a lot more than we did, maybe closer to what the value is worth inside of Wealthy Affiliate, people would likely have no qualms about it.
Some people are in it for quick money, some people are in it for something more long term...a higher goal. The latter is the category we fall into.
We want to keep things at Wealthy Affiliate of EXCELLENT VALUE. Don't think we are not as good as that $800 membership site because of our price. We are the #1 ranked Internet Marketing community for a reason. The reason being, WA offers excellent value, and value that is not matched anywhere else.

Going forward, I don't want you to think that we are cheap. Our service is very high quality, we just offer it at a price that is affordable for anyone.
We don't want to push people out of the market because we price our system too high. We want everyone to have a fair chance at success, and subsequently help the most people we can improve their existing situations.
Alright, whew! Glad I got that out on the table.
Now tomorrow we are going to be letting you in on something that we are doing. This is absolutely ridiculous. I know we just had a discussion about Excellent value, we want to give everyone the opportunity to see value with their own eyes.
